After last year's official Lgbtq+ fest events were canceled due to COVID, NYC Celebration is back for the entirety of the month in full, summer swing under the official theme "The Fight Continues." Here is a roundup of events in all five boroughs, and then some.

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Modern York City Parade was on entire display Sunday afternoon as thousands gathered for the 51st annual march.
The NYC Pride March disseminate special returned for its fifth consecutive year and featured live performances, on-air interviews and electrifying street-side marching activity.
Despite New York City's annual LGBTQ Parade parade going mostly virtual again this year, demonstrators and celebrators still made their presence felt as the streets of NYC were filled with celebration and rainbow colors.
The main New York City Pride pride, which usually draws throngs of participants and spectators, was once again presented as a television broadcast special, since now-lifted pandemic restrictions were still in effect at the time it was being planned.
But people were still able to accumulate in person on Sunday afternoon for PrideFest, a lane fair with vendors, food and fun

The NYC Pride March releases more details, Grand Marshals lineup
After transforming into an almost exclusively virtual event last year, some elements of an in-person Event March are set to return to NYC this year.
One of the elements that will connect his year’s festivities to past year’s is the inclusion of Grand Marshals. Earlier today, the Grand Marshals were officially announced: the actor Wilson Cruz, the performer and activist Ceyenne Doroshow, the lawyers and advocates Menaka Guruswamy and Arundhati Katju, the HIV prevention pioneer Dr. Demetre Daskalakis and the model Aaron Rose Philip.
