Women are more likely to identify as double attraction – can research into sexual arousal tell us why?
Women’s sexuality is vastly understudied in science and is still considered a “taboo” subject. Often, the experiences of men have been taken as the norm in scientific research, yet there are important differences in the sexuality of men and women.
In , approximately % of the population in the UK over the age of 16 identified as lesbian, gay or bisexual. But when it came to bisexuality, there was a stark difference between men and women: women were much more likely to identify as bisexual compared to men (% of women compared to % of men).
Similarly, a study conducted at the University of Notre Dame found that women were three times more likely to identify as bisexual. “Women have a greater probability than men of being attracted to both men and women,” said researcher Elizabeth McClintock, when discussing the results of the research. “This indicates that women’s sexuality may be more flexible and adaptive than men’s.”

It sounds prefer you're really worried about your sexual desires interfering with your relationship with your boyfriend. That is understandable. I would fond to note that a lot of people fantasize about experiences they wouldn't engage in real being. I'm not saying you would never want to be with a chick, but it doesn't sound like you'd do that while you're in a relationship.
You said you feel like you depend on to try women eventually. Is this more out of curiosity or are you interested in a relationship with a woman? I ask that because you also mentioned that you see a future with your boyfriend. Rectify me if I'm incorrect, but it sounds to me like you are feeling sexual desire for women but not necessarily the sexual AND idealistic desire you feel for your boyfriend. It's undedstandable, since you haven't been in a relationship with a woman before and you are attracted to multiple g
Are all women really bisexual?
Hey there,
Might come across like an odd question to some (maybe all) of you, but seriously, how can a male not gain confused by this stuff one sees and hears every day around him? I'm a guy who's really not into all the "bi-curious"/bisexual stuff women seem to hold nowadays, I just want a truly straight woman. But am I just fooling myself, or what? It seems like *every* young woman out there has lesbian tendencies, and to be truthful i'm sick of it. I comprehend a lot of guys might locate it hot and all, but not me. So, why are there so called "straight" girls who watch woman loving woman porn, masturbate to other women, fantasize about other women, make out with other women, hell, even have *sex* with other women, and still notify themselves "straight"? That's not straight in my book. So, are the majority just plain bisexuals, or am I being mentally screwed by the media and is the vast majority of the female gender exclusively straight, after all?

How many women are not totally straight?
Across all countries in which we have sufficient data on sexual orientation, straight-identified women are the second largest group—only slightly smaller than vertical men in most national surveys. According to a cross-national survey of 28 countries, they compose about 90% of the female population, and the percentage is likely higher in countries with traditional notions of femininity that discourage engaging in same-sex action. Remember, however, this is when women are only given pansexual and lesbian as alternative individuality categories and when they are not asked who they are sexually attracted to or who they have sex with.
Is this 90% an overestimation? Yes, as it is among men, but even more so. When women are given identity options beyond the traditional three (straight, bisexual, lesbian), a large number will choose straight even though they know this is inaccurate; if, however, they are given more non-straight options, such as mostly straight, pansexual, qu
